Foundation Dug!

Groundbreaking occurred on August 3rd, and the foundation has already been dug out. Folks driving down Rochester Avenue can see our progress.

Orientation to Lowe's Clinic Aug 28

Iowa Valley Habitat for Humanity is hosting an Orientation and Safety Training meeting for women who would like to participate in the second IVHFH Women Build. The meeting will take place at the Iowa City Public Library in Meeting Room A at 7:00 PM on Monday, August 28.

Groundbreaking on August 3rd!

Thursday, August 3 was a joyful day as the family, Habitat board members, friends in the community and the Women Build committee came together for the formal groundbreaking. Hyder Eltuhami, his wife Wisal Hussein, and their sons Ahmed and Anas dug in while their grandmother, Asia Elamin, looked on.
